TO THOSE WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I would only like to make one comment about Dr Saine's Paper and that is,
some of us do not really study the essence of the paper. Dr Saine did not
write paper this to gratify himself or anybody. There is nothing on the
paper that favours one group or another. A good and intelligent reading of
the paper will reveal that this man is more concerned about the Gambia than
himself or any particular group.
(Tip! Print the entire papers out and take your time to read it before
giving any baseless opinions.)
To be truthful, the majority of us on the List are living either in Europe
or in the United States and many of us are honestly earning or making more
than the President of the Gambia's D7,500 salary. We could simply be
complacent and say to ourselves "Let them sort it out themselves down there"
and help only those related to us.
Why do some people like to misconstrue any effort designed to bring about a
peaceful Gambia as anti-Jammeh? Dr Saine's Paper is merely a request for a
nation dialogue. And as Fredrick Douglas put it "Power concedes nothing
without a demand, it never has and it never will."
Thanks

Prince
