African Central Bank Governors meet in Abuja
ABUJA, Jan 18 (AFP)- A meeting of the African central bank governors opened
Tuesday in Abuja with delegates from more than 30 countries.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Joseph Sanusi, told the
opening of the Assembly of Governors of the Association of African Central
Banks (AACB), that the gathering will assess AACB's success and failure in
the past 30 years.

He said that since its inception, the association "was yet to make any
significant impact to justify its existence."
