Your comments definitely show some thinking.  I just have one suggestion
perhaps.  I sometimes believe your writings to be too turgid and abstract
for a general audience such as the G-L, to penetrate such a magnum opus.  A
little abridgement may be easier to decipher, and this could broaden the
debate on the issues that you raised.
