The latest action by the thugs in The Gambia is troubling. Lawless and
disregard of personal property cannot be ignored.

If I'm not mistaken, the proprietor of this radio station was my senior at
Saint Augustine's High. What kind of message is the dictator sending to the
Gambian people? Is this a clear indication that we will not have free and
fair elections? What kind of alternatives do we have at hand? Are we only
going to engage the Gambian people with our intellectual satire? Time is
ripe for us to put our resources together and call for opposition alliance
against the butcher of Kaninlai.

The Gambia is a case in point that cannot be ignored. When a hard working
entrepreneur's capital is destroyed, every Gambian must feel the pain. There
is no security or defense for any critic of the dictatorship if you live in
The Gambia. Brothers and sisters, we must not waste time in coming with some
strategy for a yahya-less Gambians. We owe it to our country and innocent
proprietors who are determined to provide essential goods and services to the
people of our country.

I encourage Gambians in other cities around the globe to follow our lead and
form a nonprofit political organization as a means of persuading the
opposition to unite. Time is limited and we are at crossroads. This is a
defining moment in our struggle against the dictatorship.

May God bless The Gambia. Long live democracy and down with dictator yahya
fitna moron jemus of Kaninlai.

Naphiyo,

Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh
