Saul & Fatou,

Let's not be bugged down on this. I know you both are intelligent enough.
We have more pressing issues.

Thanks to you both

Beran

Subject: Jaw: Re: THE END OF THE ROAD

                Jaw,

Please do me a favor and re-read my entire exchange with Ebou
Jallow, or the
case of Essa Sey, and see if what I said yesterday is supported
by the
facts. If what I said isn't the truth, I'll offer you my total
apologies on
                this List.

I really don't understand what's going on here. Your Ebou Jallow
angle
clearly missed the point, because the exchange was NEVER about
my views: It
was about character! As that goes, Ebou showed everyone what he
is made of
by forwarding someone's mail who stated categorically that he
wants the note
to remain exclusive. The sender is now running for his life.
Several people
gave an opinion about that. I won't even say another word.

And the guy you described simply isn't me. You criticize me in
person, so
that isn't an issue with me. As long as it's factual, I dont
mind. But this
is bound-less territory, and what gets here becomes a matter of
public
record. Thus, my setting the records straight. When you use
words like
"shoving" your thoughts down people's throats, that's not me!
What I have
always done in every org I've been a part of, is to withdraw my
support when
it becomes clear to me that certain basic rules will never be
adhered to.
How does that tie in with someone who "shoves" his thoughts down
others'
throats? If I were in the "shoving" business, don't you think
I'll force my
wife to agree with me on everything. As it is, the woman is
active in
several groups that I literally cannot stand. You know this,
Jaw. So, who's
this "shover" you're portraying? And the case of Essa Sey is a
matter of
public record. You don't need to believe anything I said. Just
read the
archives and see what that fellow was trying to make us believe
in April.
And he VOLUNTARILY de-listed. NO ONE threw him out. So Lady,
you're dead
                wrong on all those points!

This was the gist of what I wrote yesterday. Instead of
accepting the truth,
or at least reviewing the facts, you're getting angry, and
further
complicating matters by declaring our friendship "assassinated,"
etc, etc.
And I am intolerant? But in any case, if intolerating the Ebou
Jallows and
Essa Seys is what earns me this title, I very gladly accept it.
I see it as
an honor, and feel really enhanced by it. I just wish I knew
where you're
coming from, 'cause I have a weird feeling that this topic is
but an excuse
to throw some things out. Good morning from an iceblock.

                Saul.
