I agree that Jammeh is a tyrant, he is even worse than a tyrant, but i do not quite agree with the mechanism you are using to save the Gambia from this Terrible APRC leadership.
Donating money to the NADD is not the solution, we in the Diaspora should form strong assocations, all over in both europe and the states, with co-assocations and direct links back home. I think this is what we should be working on, rather.
We should not relax and leave all to Nadd, nadd is a political party, which in fact most Gambian people like me ofcourse wish, to up-root Jammeh, but the sad thing is the presence of members of the former regime.
The PPP regime was no better than that of Jammeh, infact they are the same. The activities of both of these led to our backwardness, and generally poor conditions.
Jammeh is Corrupt! yes, but what of people like OJ, and the rest of his PPP Gang deserve no good from us. Where is the money he used to steal? Is Jammeh more corrupt than oj?
If Nadd take power these same people will continue to hinder our development. I do not have confidence in their personality anyway.

Ladies and gentlemen the following is a script for the up coming VOD
program this Saturday, September, 24th 2005. I urge all Gambians and
friends of The Gambia to call at least five friends, family members or
neighbors in The Gambia to listen in. We in the Diaspora can do our part
by contributing to the on going NADD fund raising drive.

Today we are going to talk to Gambians and friends of the Gambia about the
importance of the coming by-elections in the Gambia and why you should
help Halifa in Serrekunda, Hamat in Saloum, Seedia in Wuli and Kemeseng in
Jarra West get their seats back.

We have to support the coalition financially and morally if we want them
to retain their seats this coming by-elections. This is a very important
step towards democracy and one step on our way to uproot Yahya Jammeh out
of our political system. The Guy thinks he owns Gambia and can humiliate
us in any way possible. He wants to rule Gambia for ever. We have to act
fast.
We have seen so many scary and strange happenings during his reign. People
are shot to death, no answers given. The stagnant economic conditions are
unbearable. No electricity in most parts of the country. The education
system is pathetic. We can do something about this.

We the people are the power not Yahya Jammeh. Vote for NADD, support the
opposition and give in your Dalasis, one Dalasi 2, 5, 10, 20, or 100. Just
help. Help NADD save the country from tyranny. Halifa deserves to be
called father of the nation but his seat in parliament is threatened, we
all know Hamat is humble and likable, his seat is threatened, we all know
how much trust is given to Seedia in Wulli, so is Kemeseng in Jarra west
their seats are threatened.

Jammeh wants to throw this people out of parliament because they are the
only ones that keep him in check. He is a dictator but voting him out of
power is easy. Just register and don’t give him your votes. Register to
vote and vote NADD .That is the only way we can get this tyrant out of
power. We in the Diaspora are doing our best to support. We just donated
D200 000 to NADD. They have no money because they don’t steal all our
money like Jammeh does. We got your back. When Gambians on the ground are
threatened, we are all threatened too.
But we have a very simple way to deal with it. We in the Diaspora created
an organization called Save the Gambia Democracy Project, we are watching
Gambia’s political situation closely and we are going to do whatever it
takes to tackle this tyrant out of power. We created this radio program
called voice of the Diaspora where opposition members who don’t have equal
airtime in The Gambia can speak to you directly and you can also hear from
your brothers and sisters around the world who are working with you to get
rid of tyrant Jammeh. We owe this effort to you and to the Gambia, but we
all have to work together.

Jammeh has no respect for human life or for human beings. He calls his
colleagues donkeys, he abuses the judiciary system , cannot tell us why
and who killed koro Ceesay , he cannot tell us who shot Deyda Hydara a
veteran journalist, cannot tell us who tried to kill lawyer Ousman Sillah,
he cannot tell us why and who shot our school children, he cannot tell us
why we have to pay 600 Dalasis for a bag of rice, he cannot tell us why
grade nine students cannot even write a letter, he has no idea what to do
with the lack of electricity, cannot tell us why he cannot have a mutual
and respectful relationship with our neighbor, Senegal . He cannot even
give a clear explanation as to whom and why Ghanaians are found dead on
coastal Brufut. Now Ghanaians are upset with Gambia. He is creating
enemies for Gambia day in day out.

We are sick of hearing of dead bodies. Gambians are not rats but human
beings. And STGDP has a very simple solution to get rid of Jammeh. We are
urging you all to register. Register and give NADD your votes. We
obviously should not trade, Halifa, Ousainou, Hamat, Sidia, and OJ for
Jammeh. They are like night and day. Vote for NADD and get out of the hell
that Jammeh created. We have your back and support. We are doing our part
here in the Diaspora, but we want you to do your part.

Every Saturday we carry programs on your shortwave radio 9405 KHz SW. Tune
into it and send us your suggestions, or log in to sunugambia.com to see
more of what we are doing.
We are here to walk with you towards democracy, but you must give NADD
your votes and financial support.

Thank you and God bless
