It is difficult to understand the track that a 'political-amoeba' takes sometimes.Well with all the noise about the package Yaya Jammeh calls for free education for girls...??? what has he got to say on this piece which was published by the point? There is no harm in helping these poor kids but is this state in a stalemate not harming these kids by openly and unequivocally saying that there is free education for girls?! STUPID! I believe more than one on this list are girls! Lest we forget when Sedia Jatta openly exposed these fallacies from Jammeh at the house of parliament.Sedia educated listeners on thatie by telling every Gambian that UNICEF was the institution that introduced the said project.Ummmm...Yaya decided to grab it for himself. He shamelessly and recklessly attempted to hijack a project he knows nothing about.
Sering Bamba says:"Ku manut baayiwut lu yahu yaako waral"-Meaning the one who knows not and knows that he knows not is responsible of any harm that may befall those he is claiming to help. I have personally forwarded this piece to helpers and its obvious I will follow up to make sure the kids get sponsorship God willing.Indeed it is also an occasion for people to further reveal that Yaya Jammeh is darn, crazy liar! To hell with this "dancing mask"!!!!

With Lamin F Bojang Students in Need of Sponsors
Wednesday 16th November 2005
  By Sidiq Asemota
Five pupils of Standard Day Care and Nursery School are in desperate need of assistance to further their education.
The five, namely Kumba Njie, Ousainatou Darboe, Isatou Sambou, Alpha Saho and Rohey Cham, are orphans and vulnerable children between three and five years old, whose performance in school have been very promising.
According to their class teacher, Mr Jarjue, these pupils were among the best in his class. He told this paper that Kumba Njie and Ousainatou Darboe took 3rd position, Isatou Sambou 2nd position, Alpha Saho 5th position whilst Rohey Cham took 1st position in their last terminal examination.
“It is very unfortunate that these pupils who are very bright have a bleak future as they are orphans and cannot afford their tuition fees.” Mr Jarjue said.
The Director of the school, Mr Muhammed Adole, said education is an important component that makes one’s life complete.
He noted that children of today are the future leaders of tomorrow.
Mr Adole however solicited for assistance or sponsors and organisations that could come to the aid of these needy children.
Any individual, NGO, private and government institutions willing to assist these pupils should contact Mr Muhammed Adole, the Director of Standard Day Care and Nursery School, at 9925760 or e-mail at: [log in to unmask]
