Position: Program Officer for Procurement/Technical Assistance (#812)
PATH seeks a Program Officer for its Seattle Program Site to help 
design, manage and conduct procurement training and technical assistance 
in developing and transitional countries and assist in conceptualizing 
new approaches under health care reform. Position requires in-depth 
knowledge of international competitive bidding and procurement process, 
all phases of procurement cycle and working familiarity with World Bank 
procurement guidelines. Expected education and experience: masters in 
relevant field, at least 10 years in developing countries on a 
consulting or resident basis managing projects that emphasize health 
commodity supply, preferably to include vaccines and contraceptives.  
Expertise in international trade, finance, transportation, curriculum 
design/materials and strong computer skills especially spreadsheets and 
graphics. Ideal candidate has analytical, problem solving, presentation 
skills, and creativity.  French or Russian language a plus. Up to 40%

Position: Health Economist (#636)
PATH seeks a health economist for its Seattle Program Site to take a 
lead role in the research, analysis, and reporting of economic and 
social implications of introducing new/modified technologies and 
clinical interventions into the health programs of transition economies 
¡ both developed and developing.  Ideal candidate will have a masters 
degree in economics with health emphasis, special knowledge of health 
technologies, experience designing and analyzing cost-effectiveness 
studies and technology assessment analysis as well as clinical outcomes 
research experience.  Fluent English and excellent oral and written 
communication skills.  Good quantitative analysis skills and computer 
skills.  Available for domestic and international travel 30% annually.  
At least four years developing country experience or equivalent.

Position: Controller (#803)
PATH seeks a Controller for its Seattle Headquarters to provide overall 
leadership for the Accounting and Finance Units of Administration, 
Finance and Human Resources and serve as chief compliance officer for 
donor and PATH accounting and finance policies and procedures.  Ed/Exp. 
BA degree in a related field required; masters and CPA preferred.  Ten 
plus years of directly related experience.  Strong working knowledge of 
USAID rules and regulations for both contracts and cooperative 
agreements.  Direct experience with A-133 and USAID audits of 
USAID-funded projects.  Familiarity with creating and managing 
computer-based solutions to accounting and financial management 
problems.  Good audit risk analysis skills and systems analysis skills 
required.  Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal 
skills.  Demonstrated team building skills in a flat organization 
structure.  Creative problem solver.


Salary range: $60,000-$75,000 DOE and excellent benefits.  Relocation 
allowance provided per PATH policies.
