DEAR MR. CAMARA:

Very many thanks for re-emphasizing and reiterating the significance of
maintaining civil discourse on the forum, and I honestly applaud you for
taking the initiative to promote decency in the debate. But, however, I
humbly disagree with you on your NEW RULE of discouraging PRIVATE SOURCES.
This forum is INFORMATIVE, EDUCATIVE and with the fundamental objective of
ENLIGHTENING our peoples and the International community as to what evolves
in The Gambia in terms of HUMAN RIGHT VIOLATIONS. And since we are competing
with a DISHONEST Government machinery, which uses all kinds of tactics to
misinform our people and the International community, the SOLE efficient and
effective means of collecting and distributing information by US(members of
the L), is through PRIVATE SOURCES available to US in and outside the
administration, period.

To put it more conveniently, WE the LERS, also need an effective
COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE operations in order to compete with such a powerful and
dishonest Government, otherwise, the central purpose of the forum will be
defeated, and that is the last thing we envisage. To that end MR. CAMARA, I
humbly urge you to rethink your NEW RULE of discouraging PRIVATE SOURCES.
After all, WE are all involved in AMATEUR JOURNALISM, and Journalism's
survival is ENTIRELY RESTED on PRIVATE SOURCES. If you divorce private
sources from journalism, journalism will be seriously impeded. Once again,
very many thanks for stepping forward; this was long over due. GOD BLESS THE
FORUM.

ANSUMANA.
