I am still with the Bantaba, albeit inactive, due to work overload and all
the other things I've committed to. I will be back though since I want to
share with all those soccer lovers the exciting season our league (my son
and daughter's) concluded.
I had saved your piece on the Pinochet affair to add my two cents to and
never had the chance to put my thoughts down. Suffice it to say that I
think the precedence could be a double edged sword for "third" world leaders
and their people.
Regarding the Bantaba, this is what I said at the last GLC Independence day
conference about it - Gambia-L embraces our hopes, transform our fears and
assist us to get together, agreeing and disagreeing, to co-create the best
possible reality for our people and our country. Kudos to those who
conceived of this idea.
