The way forward for Gambia is cultural tourism., down with the current
trend of sun tanning,lazy, beach laying and insultive tourism.

Male prostitutes in the Gambia
Prosition has nothing to do with class. We have seen rich prostitutes
and poor ones., Male and female. Infact in the Gambia it is more
(according to my personal research) the men who openly display their
sexuallity in the beaches of Gambia and in the tourists areas than the
girls.I have seen that most of them are non-Gambia and also most of the
girls.I am not saying that no Gambian is invilved but I do not see many
Gambians or the regular Gambian in socual circles in this trade.This is
a desperate trade in the Gambia.( jom) The girls may sneak into the
hotel rooms but the men are openly prostituting.In Holland they say if
an old woman needs a husband ,go to the Gambia. Of course there are
stupid girls in this but most Gambians with decent family background are
within the family system and in this system you can't be accepted as a
prostitute as well as in the mosque and in the church. This is
Gambia.(njor).
Fashion fuels femaleprostitution
For some of the fashionable girls,they are victim of MTV and cheap video
production outfits. In the Gambia fashion for all season walks so long
as it looks like anything on TV or in photo magazines from Europe and
America. The belly piecing and the fake tatoos and flash bikinis are all
dresses the copied from hit videos.These videos are getting more and
more in Africa. The lowest horny phoney videos are entering our bed
rooms now ( and you know the African home all in one room,kids
included) They don't know that these clothes are only for one set show
only and they are not for street wear but to arouse a viewerss in a Love
and Sex video clip. They want to be hip too. They look insane in someout
fits. But they would DO ANY thing to get these clothes. Every day a new
dress and stroll in the city like a FASHION MODEL to arouse men for
more money and for more outfits. More, more, more. and now the tourists
can like me and buy me a house.This is the next level The tourist don't
EVEN know. They are dafts. The girls would fall on them. Some tourists
don't even know how to talk women. They girls don't bother to ask about
health while most tourist are siclk patients.The tourists called the
girls prostitutes ( sex workers) .They are Fatous, Bintas, Amies and
moms who sacrifice their boy son and girls to be friend child molesters
and we are all against this. Let us do something about this urgently.
The Quality of tourists
The quality of Tourists we attract into the Gambia are poor, very poor.
They pay sometimes $300 for aweek with hotel and breakfast, Airticket
(roundtrip), free buses, etc and a very big mouth. They will not buy
souviners,they will pay out for sex for the week and that will cost up
to D1000 for the week. This is 40 Euros. Most tourists who come to the
Gambia have no choice and they mostly come from small villages without
traffic lights. They can't talk to a city girl in Europe. They play god
in Africa with people who don't know about the big lie" The White Myth".
They just come to sun baked their cancer skin and don't care about The
Gambia. Only the Sun, it could be anywhere. They are advice by the
travell groups where to go and if the are poor and need sun , The gambia
is there and what is next SEX.
The Selfish interest
The demarcation among the people, between the true interest of the
people and the intrest of a small MINORITY which wants to make use of
prostition is absolutely clear. They want a house, they want clothes and
they want to go to heaven in Europe.It is neccessary to know the people
practicing prostition and let the law deal with them without comprise.It
is against the laws of The Gambia.It is necessary to know their geneuine
greed inorder to set them against selffish interest..
