BREAKING NEWS:LIE CONTEH PLACED UNDER SURVEILLANCE BY GOV'T?
                 BY KARAFA BADJIE
Well placed sources in the Jammeh, administration have hinted that the sacked popular KMC Chairman Retired Major Lie Conteh, has been placed under close security surveillance these days. It is gathered that following news that Conteh, was on the verge of teaming up with the opposition, the regime had dispatched certain NIA officers to monitor his movements within the country.

  NADD SHAKE YAHYA'S GOV'T
Conteh, who was fired on alleged corruption scandal and disrespect for authority, was said to have angered the head of State who instructed the NIA to monitor his movement for security reasons. It is not clear what are the objectives of these NIA operatives seen pursuing Conteh within and outside his premises, but it reported that the State ordered for Conteh’s movements in the country to be monitored.
A well placed source told this paper that such a security move was calculated to scare the former soldier, whose political loyalty is hanging in the air. Conteh was expelled from the ruling APRC amidst allegations that he disrespected the Vice President and was involved in the collection of unauthorized government perdium allowances.
Another factor linked to the surveillance meted out to the former KMC chairman was reports circulating in the country that he was posed to form a political party to oppose the APRC government in the coming elections. It is reported that Conteh, himself is increasingly worried about the strange security encounters he experienced on a daily basis.
