Yesterday was Nomination Day and five candidates will contest the upcoming
elections. They are:

APRC:President Jammeh
NCP: Sheriff Mustapha Dibba
NRP: Hamad Bah
PDOIS: Sidia Jatta
UDP: Ousainou Darboe

The day went peacefully and suuporters of each party came out in great
numbers. All the candidates promised a peaceful and violent free campaign.
President Jammeh and his supporters walked from Westfield to Banjul
jubilating.

The campaign will officially start September 26th and end October 16th.
