Congratulation Hon. Members:

Dear Hon. Members Halifa Sallah, Kemesseng Jammeh & Sedia Jatta,

I and the entire members of the Movement for Democracy and Development would like to join the Gambian people in congratulating you for a well fought victory. In this critical moment for the future of our country when the democracy of our nation is facing a continuous attack from the fascist dictatorship, we express our full support for your patriotism and civic responsibilities that you along with thousands of Gambians are manifesting. You do not want to leave the country in the arms of a corrupt and dictatorship that can annul democratic system.

I would say Bravo to Hamat Bah on his Great performance in the by-election. The fraudulent electoral practice, intimidation and blatant theft of the rights of the people of Upper saloum to freely choose their National Assembly Member will not go unnoticed.

Finally i hope justice will be done for the people of Upper Saloum.

Long live democracy and long live The Gambia!
