Mr. Konteh,
I don't think we are in any way inconsistent with the issues here. People
have different opinions and to say that this big sum of money taken away from
our people is distracting us form the issue, I think is down playing it. We
have to understand that the crusade we are in has a lot of other things
attached to it. The fact that Ebou Jallow said on this List one time that he
was willing to return the money, and few months later the most corrupt
government reported that the money was finally paid back to the government
tells us something else. Who has the money now? Don't you think the Gambians
deserve an answer. If it was paid back to Jammeh then we could add that to
the over one hundred million he is saving for us.
Mr. Modou Sanyang just put things in the nicest way, and I hope Mr. Jallow
will seize this opportunity to tell us. He does not have to be defensive. We
are all in the same struggle, but I lost respect for him when he mentioned
that he was involved in organizing mercenaries with no body but Jawara to
bring Yaya down. If I am right, this was reported in the Gambian news before.
Therefore, Jallow is just giving a lot of credit to this regime he certainly
served and ran away only after he had some money to go with. I have no doubt
that if he had no money to abscond with, he would still have been in the
Gambia.

Ousman Bojang.
