I agree with you Bamba, the Gambia Security forces need to be commended this time for a job well done. Everyone who knows or had encountered with Security forces back home, will not be impressed by the way they behave towards civilians, they are very unprofessional in the way they act.
But this time around, bravo to them, they have acted in a way that is very professional and they need to be commended. Let them keep it up.
Maturity is what we all expect from them!!!!
BRAVO! BRAVO!

Our Senegalese cousins are definitely suspect on this one. I respect our
soldiers for acting professinally in escorting them out to the border
without any incident. Perhaps the Senegalese were looking for an
over-reaction. Cuz I cannot believe a group of soldiers can be that stupid
to march in the middle of Albert market fully armed (as reported) without
attracting attention - albeit in total breach of diplomatic protocol.
Whatever the case is, thank God the Gambian soldiers acted the way they
did (wheather it be a truly professional act or sheer cowardice - knowing
how unprofessional they sometimes act towards the Gambian civil populace).

Thank God!
