Ginny,

The final count is yet to be out but provisional results indicate that Wade
scooped more than 60 per cent of the vote. I hope we get the final tally by
the end of the day.

However, Senegalese in the diaspora have voted as follows:

France: Wade polled 3691 and Joof 1664 (Wade 68.93%, Joof 31.07%)

USA: Wade: 857, Joof: 270 (76.04% and 23.96% respectively)

Germany: Wade: 155, Joof 35 (81.58% and 18.42% respectively)

This gives Wade 81.58% of the total votes cast by voters resident in these
three countries, as opposed to 18.42% for Joof.

Regards.

Kabir.
