Vigilance,the overseas information collection networks of the facist regime
are under restructuring.The qualitative development in overseas opposition
since the formation of the london movement have forced them to rethink about
methods of work.

We must also update our structures and methods.great and positive
developments are taking place in our diaspora eg specific issues
websites,fundraising etc etc, we are still weak on security related issues
depite the great number of gambians trained in security related studies in
our ranks.

Given the regime reliance on brute force to maintain itself in control with
all the security structures in place we must develop corresponding
institutions to counter it both at home and outside the gambia.

Information monitored from the gambian diaspora is pointing to increase
activity of the regimes`intellegence agents.given their exposure in the pre
april killings they have now gone underground to infliltrate all
organisations and social activities in our communities.WATCH OUT

The aim at this stage is to collect information for the NIA of opposition
elements and their activities,prevent the community organisations from
taking positions against the facist actions of the state and spreading
disunity -disinformation-in the ranks of the opposition delaying and
preventing the process coming together.

To stop the terror against our people we must out of necessity build an
institution to study the gambian security reality -both in gambia and
outside-and come with short, medium and long term recomendations to address
the reality.

the concern gambians seriously interested and competent-and we are meny-must
understand that the struggle against the regime must be carried on all
fronts necessary.

we must also understand that the present facist stage had preceeding stages
hundreds of years old both under direct foreign rule and gambian
colaborators in both local and central government institutions ,after
febuary 1965 and july 1994.

We must understand that the present struggle is aim not only in the defeat
of the facist regime.we must in the pocess of the struggle creat the
conditions that will not allow another facist regime after this in the
gambia.

We must understand that the total democratic restructuring of our gambia and
its rebuilding in all areas of human activity  for all the people is the aim
of the struggle.

we must in this difficult period  extend mutual solidarity to people in need
of help within our communities especially in the gambia.we must seek contact
and build solidarity networks with african people in our region subjected to
facism with the aim of helping each other against the coordinated barbarism
of the forces of terror in our region.

Remember the victims of april with a resolve to intensify the process of the
struggle in all areas.
