Subject: [us-afr-network] Re: MN Report

On April 11-12 Southern African Development Community (SADC) will be
holding another busines trade and investment conference here in St. Paul
Minnesota. The plan is to legalize a structure whereby the Upper Midwestern
states will collaborate on specific issues in the National Policy Plan of
Action. Thus far we have state chairs from North Dakota and Minnesota. We
want to reach Iowa or to get a confirmation of attendance of April 11. We
are working to have someone present from South Dakota.
After the two day conference, the plan is to issue a statement to the press
of our legal priorities.
