election and advise their supporters to stay away from it. By contesting this  
election, the opposition will legitimize this corrupt  process."


 
I hate to say it, but in view of what is transpiring, this has also crossed  
my mind. However, I think we need to first know what the repercussions of this 
 action will be? What will ensue if the opposition boycotts the elections and 
how  will that help in this situation?
