Musa, thanks for telling the truth. When I said it here, some of us being
their usual self played the Gambian card of hypocrisy to suggest that I was
the problem. Look, we need to be a good judge of character and for the sake
of our nation and peoples let us be honest for once and jealously guard
against those whose wishes are against our national interest. I do not know
how Gambians can say they agree with the spirit of the NADD MOU, yet have a
problem with the same NADD MOU, all in the same mouth. Now that Musa, who
was part of an STGDP delegation to meet with Darbo has told you that what
they discussed with Darboe away from the cameras is not what Darboe after
they left, said in front of the camera, I hope sanity will now reign from
here on out. The STGDP delegation came from that meeting with and
understanding that they were to draft a proposal to broker and agreement
between UDP and NADD, only to be whip lashed with the surprised tirade of
Darbo. Musa's statement, yesterday, that the UDP did not disappoint the
STGDP, which I disagreed with but let the process flow uninterrupted, was
based on the conclusions reached in that off camera meeting. Now,
quintessential Darbo, everything and everybody is a conspirator, but the
"white Elephant". Folks, if we cannot call this one out it is not because
we do not understand it, but because we refuse to acknowledge the truth that
Ousainou, like I have been warning some of you, is not interested in the
Gambia you and I envisioned, but to RULE Gambia and there is a difference.
I will not be surprised if some come here to try to defend the indefensible.
Folks, wishing is not going to be our salvation but tightening our belt and
fighting for the Gambia we want to live in and not what Darboe wants for us.
Each one of us will live with their conscience and I hope you listen to
your inner voice. Those of us that believe in what NADD stands for must
move on and continue the fight we started to liberate Gambia. At this rate
and by the time this is over, the whole of Gambia may be conspirators,
according to Ousainou. Well folks, it is your turn to form your opinion.
