 Sister Jabou & Lang,
The great guys in our struggle are still our heros in the struggle. May
be they don`t know much about the crooks we got, before Yaya Jammeh
Hijacked our country.
One thing i like in the Gambia-L is that, even the people unknown to
each other are communicating, with understandings like friends /
brothers / sisters. This has proven some kind of solidarity between
Gambians today. Unlike the last decades when the poor Gambians are being
segregated, and only few families ( The MAFFIA ) are given all the
priorities and privileges. We the people who have experienced the dirty
games of our brothers will never forget it, but we can forgive them with
a clean hearts. All their wickedness was based on accumulating the
worldly goods, which they will certainly leave on earth for somebody
else. Most of these crooks never believed in God, but it was so amazing
that after the coup in 1994, when Yahya Jammeh seized most of their
properties, then they all turned to the mosques to be good muslims. I
hope they understand that God is not a hypocrite, and HE cannot be
fooled by anyone. HE knows all that we have in our hearts and minds.
I hope heros like Karamba, Saihou Mballow and others, will give a wake
up call to the UDP, to scrutinize the people they are forwarding to the
Gambian Public. I received a mail from a friend yesterday who told me
that Gambians are carefully watching the UDP, with the old PPP
politicians. People had got enough from the
old PPP regime, and does not want to see the Yaya Jammeh regime anymore.
So the ball is on the opposition`s court to convince the Gambian people.
Yahya Jammeh`s seven years rule has educated all the Gambians, and
people will never accept again what happened to them during the 30 years
of PPP rule. I hope the opposition will embrace each other to try and
bring sanity back to our country.
Let our heros understand that, even if we don`t see eye to eye on some
issues, we still give them our full support in the struggle, because we
are in the same boat. It is always good to speak our minds, to help up
solve issues in the future. May God bless all our heros in this
struggle!
Elhajj.
