POSTPONEMENT: - NEW DATE MAY BE 17th Sept OR 24th Sept. Please tell Susan Rowe which suits you best, and await her announcement of the date.

All are welcome to the next meeting of GESO (Gambia Education Support Organisation) UK. (Usually the attendance is about 8). The meeting will be at house of Mike & Tessa Carrick, Nuthatch, Lakeside Court, Off Worcester Road, Upton Warren, BROMSGROVE, Worcs, B61 7EY. Tel & Fax 01527 873135. Upton Warren is on the A38 between Worcester and Bromsgrove. It is 3 miles south of Bromsgrove, 17 miles south of Birmingham, 11 miles north of Worcester.

Find the Swan public house and hotel, which is on the A38: 400 yards north of Webbs Garden Centre and about 2.5 miles south of Bromsgrove.

a.. Leave the M5 at Wychbold (junction 5) and travel 1.5 miles north on the A38 to the Swan Pub at Upton Warren.
b.. OR leave the M5 at Lydiate Ash (junction 4) and travel about 5.5 miles south on the A38 to the Swan Pub at Upton Warren
c.. OR leave the M42 at Lickey End (junction 1) [only possible if travelling west] and travel 4 miles south on the A38 to the Swan Pub at Upton Warren.
From the Swan pub travel about 200 yards north towards Bromsgrove and turn into the small road on the right (there is an AA yellow post there). This road is called Lakeside Court. Watch the speed bumps, travel to the big house at the end of the road (400 yards). Nuthatch is the BACK door round the right hand end of the big house. Then ask for instructions about parking to keep the neighbours happy!! We will provide a simple lunch if you let us know you are coming!

The 144 Bus travels from Worcester to Birmingham and vice versa. The nearest stop is called "Bromsgrove Caravans". From there walk 100 yards south towards Worcester to reach Lakeside Court. But if you need collecting from Birmingham New Street Railway Station or Worcester Railway Station this may be possible - phone to enquire!.

I repeat - the date is now NOT 3rd Sep. It will be either 17th or 24th Sep at 1.00 pm. Please tell Susan Rowe [log in to unmask] which suits you best, then watch for the announcement.

All the best, Mike Carrick
