Dear G-lers,
Once again Gambians have demonstrated that collectively, we can achieve
the near impossible. I am pleased to announce to all, that our brother
Kutubo Manneh, on whose behalf an appeal was launched last week, has
arrived in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Dr S. A. Dumbuya.
Kutubo has been met at the airport by the ambulance crew of King Khalid
University Hospital and is currently admitted in the neurosugical ward
of the same hospital.
His condtion is stable, and he is bearing this tragedy with great
courage and fortitude. On his behalf, and on behalf of his family and
friends, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the
entire Gambian community for their great show of concern, sympathy, and
solidarity, throughout this crisis. Thanks.

PS: I am unable to go through to Gambia by phone to inform Yankuba Dibba
of GFPA and Lang Konteh of Shell marketing, as well as Kutubo's family.
