Ylva Hernlund,
Despite the late notice and the fact that I do know
anyone residing in Michigan's 11th Congressional
District to contact Congressman Rogers,my American
colleague at the African Development Bank will most
certainly hear from me first thing in the morning. The
HIPC Initiative cannot realised its desired effect if
the G-7 doesn't put its money where its mouth is.The
African Development Bank,despite its limited
resources, has honoured it pledge to HIPC since last
year. Why not the United States of America? Why?

I join Ylva in encouraging G-L members to call their
representatives, despite the late notice, to honour
their Cologne pledge by voting money for the African
Debt Supplemental.

Meanwhile, I thank you for putting me on the alert.
