As I read each of Saiks correspondence with a Sister Jay and her quarrels
with the gentleman, I cannot help but wonder what the lady's problems are.
And how empty the quarrels really are. Each message from her contains a
subtle lambasting of why Saiks is not in the Gambia staging the struggle
there instead of Oslo. Excuse me what are you doing in Sweden? One wonders
what self sacrifices you are undergoing that makes you so self righteous as
to chide Saiks on his little contribution? The guy told you that when
students were being gunned down he happened to be there on a mission for the
better but no that doesn't suffice for you. You want his permanent presence
there. You want him set up an outfit to battle the regime; a trade union or
something of that nature. One would be excused into believing that you have
already set up your own Gambia Women Findi Grower's Association for you to
adopt such a self righteous posture. Ironic isn't?
You staging that phoney and outdated Marxist struggle/revolution in
Stockholm for wretched souls in the Gambia but aha, Saiks is exempt from that
privilege because maybe he happens to be a man. Surprised?...me? Nope. This
is the age of irony. People just wouldn't stop this self righteous talks
about how each should conduct him/herself. For chrissake lets stop this these
senseless quarrels. If people want to make their presence known on the List
let them tackle the real issues that affect us as a people rather than engage
in slugfests that lays bare one's sense of irony each time.
By the way just wish to inform you lot there is indeed ugliness in
diversity. Time has not accorded me the opportunity to tell you why.
Diversity like conformism can be both dull and ugly. This is such a time in
the struggle against the Fascist regime.
Brother Saiks, continue your struggle. If you wish to stage it in
Nicaragua or the North Pole, do not take sanctimonious or holier-than-thou
sermons from people in the comfy worlds of Stockholm or elsewhere who think
otherwise. The struggle can be mounted/staged anywhere. Bottomline is one has
just to be patriotic, dedicated, selfless and well meaning.
