NB: am no authority on either Bilal or Islam for that matter. All I did was
carry out a research and also made enquiries to
friends and family who happened to be much more knowledgeable of the Bilal
issue in particular and Islam in general.
I am sure you can appreciate that
I was not around during his life time, so if any of the history/info I have
supplied on him is wrong, then I seek your and everyone's forgiveness
and I hope Bilal would be able to forgive me too.
If you would like to read more on his life and then may be have better
knowledge to enable you to discuss his life with colleagues
then I would urge you to try this link. It's a heavy read but it would be
worth it if you can find the time to read it.
