Buharry,

Thank you and Saiks for redirecting our focus to a more practical direction.
I think you have highlited very important issues about this election. Issues
that average people lkike me who would like to see the back of the Dirimo as
soon as possible, will tend to oversight. I agree with you that this
by-election should be an indication to all of us as to how the average
Gambian voter percieves what is happening to our nation. To this end, I
would like to highlight one very important question you asked in your
posting :

"Are the things we cry about out here in the West important to the average
Samba on the streets of Kerr Pateh?"

In my opinion, this is the crux of what we are faced with today.
