Brother Hamjatta:

I am really disappointed that you have personally decided to attack comrades
in struggle because they simply disagree with you or are skeptical of your
views. We must be careful to not let our guards down in confronting the
problems we have in The Gambia.

Some Gambian intellectuals in the 70's, 80's and 90's embarked on personal
crusades against Sir Dawda. I remember during my high school days when some
of these faked prophets of politics cross-carpeted to the PPP. Our struggle
cannot and should not be bent on self-seeking promotions. We must solidify
and continue to confront the problems we have in The Gambia.

A struggle should be carried out of respect of the oppressed. We will be
doing disservice to The Gambian people if we continue to fight. Please focus
your guns on dictator yahya jahanama, and embrace the patriots in our
struggle. A leader must have wisdom and temperament to promote peace. A
leader must not be timid. The Gambia is our homeland. We must free the
Gambia. Please be tolerant.

Naphiyo,

Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh
