characterised Gambian politics of yesteryears. Like I
said before, there had been a lot of provocation from
both the UDP and AFPRC/APRC."

Perhaps you could suggest how brinkmanship might have
led to the arrest and detention of 8 UDP supporters in
June 1997-Remember the case of Yusupha Cham, Shingle
Nyassi, Mrs Sarjo Kunjang, Demba Arab Sanneh and 4
others

Gassa

Believe it or not this was a classic case of gross
violation of Human Rights. At no time where the likes
of Yusupha Cham being involved in any provocative act.
The only crime they committed was that of "not
supporting the APRC."

Lets face it APRC through its July 22 Movement have on
numerous occassions orchestrated the political
violence. By the way, have you forgotten about Lamin
Waa Juwara's expulsion from the Local Government
Seminar held at Mansakonko.

I am sure the situation would been different if UDP
had participated in the last National Assembly
Elections.

Finally you wrote;
"Sanusi, some of the specific incidents that you

supposedly involved, that it is difficult to know who
to believe"

Well Gassa, Gambia Biggest Fugutive currently studying
at Georgetown University, U.S.A gave a lot of
revelations about the death of Koro Sisay. Are you
inferring that he lied about the Koro Sisay incident.

By the way, I have decided not to mention his real
name for fear of falling sick.

More to follow;

Have a wonderful day

debate non-issues. If you have something useful to
contribute to any debate, you are welcome. Otherwise
keep your peace as I do not have the time for slander

one. That is last Butut on this issue as far as you
are concerned.</P>
