Yep,  Dr Jammeh has turned the government into his personal tool for making
money by setting up schemes whereby he makes money from anything supplied to
the government by using his cronies as fronts for the  purchase and then
generate a commission. I guess he was not going to make that commission in
this particular transaction, so he decided to cook up a supposed scandal and
get rid of an employee at the same time, and to send a message to all civil
servants that they cannot assume they can just make arrangements to purchase
anything for their departments because all those oprerations that used to be
carreid out by those charged with the respponsibility have now become a pot
of gold reserved only for the Bogus Doctor.God save The Gambia.
