Kebba Dampha,
Thank you very much, for your mail. I just want you to understand that i have nothing against Ousainou
Darboe, and Jawara is my close relative. If you check in the achieves some time last year, when Ousainou was
accused of the murder case, i flatly denied it and praised him as good and honest man. I am aware of many
good things he did for people, and the assistance he did for his clients with their families. I know Ousainou
personally, and i wish him good luck to win the elections. It is very unfortunate, that i just don`t want to
involve myself in African politics, because of its nature. I know all the party leaders personally, and i
have no hard feelings against any of them. I am only against Yaya Jammeh, because of the cold blood murders
of
1.The Koro Ceesay issue. 2.Murders of the innocent soldiers in Nov. 11th. 3.Murders of our children in April
10th / 11th. 4.The open violation of people`s human rights. I can tell you that, if Yaya is able to proof his
innocence in the above issues, i for one will refrain from saying anything against him. I cannot blame him
for misusing the coffers of the country, because the same thing was done by the Ex-PPP regime. I wish to see
a regime with decent people, who will sympathize with the poor and put their national interest, before
anything. It is very unfortunate that our opposition leaders failed to make a full coalition to solve our
problem. So, i think we are facing a very, very big problem, if the leaders we rely on has betrayed us. I
think we should concentrate on the most important issues, and stop these personal attacks, which has no value
to our struggle. Let us maintain the respect and dignity in which we were brought up, and disagree with
respect. I for one will continue to disagree with respect, and give full respect to all my elders. May God
save The Gambia and Gambians from Shaytan. Aameen!
Elhajj.
