        This is a follow-up to what James Gomez posted recently.
        The committee would first like to thank all those who attended the
soccer
        tournament between Senegal and the DC Scorpions (Gambia won!), and
the
        cookout this past sunday. The turnout was great and has certainly
set the
        tone for a wonderful ALD this year.  The ambiance was further
accentuated by
        music supplied by DJ Shakie while Le Grand Chef - Tijan Ceesay
dazzled the
        crowd with his culinary skills.
        A meeting is scheduled for this coming Sunday at Astrid
Christensen's place.
        Time: 5:00 pm prompt! Please make plans to attend.
