Thank you Daffeh for your response. Given that the IEC has the issue
before it; through proper channel of communications I suggest the G6
incorporate the issue in the current Electoral Reform Demands to
address the Oversight. It is a right that must be exercised as Citizens
contributing to the Economic Growth of the Country, be it 2016 or there
after Gambians will always be away from the shores of the Gambia. Peace.

Farang.

Subject: Re: IS IT CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENT?

Good try Mr. Kebbeh but the majority of Gambians who have been voting
for the opposition since the birth of the second republic are leaning
the opposite direction in line with common sense and universal norms,
and that makes your proposition a confounded one at best and eccentric
at worst.

You have called BB Darboe to retire from politics and leave it to the
young. But do you honestly believe the UDP leader to be older than
Sidia? I know the opposite to be true.

Edrissa, you have a valid point there. The voting rights of overseas
based Gambians should have been included in the reform agenda. However,
the UDP Diaspora did petitioned the IEC on this issue but received no
reply despite a follow-up by the Party's leadership in Banjul.
Notwithstanding, I do agree that the issue should have been included in
the reform agenda of the G6 since the group was formed solely for that
purpose- to demandd genuine electoral reform to ensure free and fair
elections. I would like to think this was an oversight.

Thank for your thoughts

Daffeh

likely to continue his menace for sometime. The obstacle is, has been,
and likely will be lawyer darbo and udp.

the SIX
