Bro Yuse & Karim,

The debate is so moving. I am glad that Gainako’s story has attracted this much attention, including the many calls from the Gambia. If for any sincerity and honesty, I again tip-off my hat for Solo for his extensive coverage on Gambian affairs and always with original reportage.

Gainako through its extension of hand, long since contacted Uncle Pap Saine for his side of the story. We look forward to hearing from him as time permits him.

Having said that, let us exercise some true and unbiased criteria for analysis leading to the story seemingly getting the wide media scope it deserved, but first I like to thank any one participating in establishing the truth, here or there –nothing but that whole mighty truth, especially Coach who through his clarity told his experience as it happened in the past. The good thing about Gainako, we can debate our forwards here, which show clear conscience. Those supporters to individuals also have a right to fight hard. That is ok. It is dissenting views at work. The similitude of this one was Waa Juwara’s story by the Freedom Newspaper which was similarly rebutted. Mighty Juwara was interviewed and he said “la la la!” In less than a month after that, the truth gushed forth and poor Nderry was never thanked for getting that story right. To me honest, this poor Manneh has a right to tell the truth, as well to support his god-father in saving mighty Uncle Saine from any embarrassment. By so doing, he is certain to keep his job and loved one -Saine.

Some facts:

-That there is a problem between E. Manneh and Axi Gainako
-That some threats were made to E. Manneh of the Point
-That communication took place between the Point Editors, especially Uncle Pap and Axi Gai, Sports Minister.
-That the “Gele-gele” story was dropped.

NB: What I believe is that if people can lie at the small level, there is no other level to which they cannot go to support a big lie. So and so, let Axi Gai tell the truth. That is the level of intellectual dishonesty and prostitution. Further, it is to be noted that the bug is circulating within them.

So and so, I will be happy that through Gainako’s reportage, this young sports reporter’s life and job be saved.

It is also up to the genuine readership at large, not just some disgruntled or concerned individuals to judge. Now let us hear more from others as well. Let us make it a healthy debate since we are all after the whole truth.

I thank you!

Yours at the Forums,
Yero.

For the note, Gainako stand by its reported story, in fact the branching media coverage from ours collaborated ours in report.
