 Jabou,
This is undoubtedly a beautiful idea, BUT would Senegal or any other country
 in the region allow it?
If such a station were to be launched, it has to be nowhere else but in the
 Gambia.

Well, Prince, you have a point there, and Senegal would be put in an awkward
position if the Gambia government sees this station as something hostile,
which is quite possible. This sort of station has been launched by varoius
groups before, for example, l think that the Cuban community in Florida has
such stations that do broadcast into Cuba, and the VOA operates along the
same lines. l think this station will not survive if it is in The Gambia as
evidenced by the closing down of Citizens FM, and the constant harrassment
that is faced by the journalists at The Independent Newspaper. This station
needs to be located in any country that will allow it to be operated from
their territory. Which country? l cannot tell you right now, but definitely
not Gambia for right now.
