Ndey,
intellectual nit picking is a trait of those who are obsessed with proving a
point no matter how much the contrary. and those who are obsessed always
forget that there is anything like two sides to a story. they only see an d
believe their obsession.
on this issue all you guys have been doing is re-invent, rejig and maasage a
knee jerk deep throat rumour fed to you by some anonymous without any
substanstive evidence what soever. just because jammeh in the past has done
things of this kind doesn't justify you indicting him for this allegation
without evidence. you live in country called the uk; here as you know anyone
charged or alleged with a crime is assumed innocent until proven guilty by
facts not hearsay and previous convictions. here the black minority is an
oppressed people like all over the west; we are 8 times likelier to be
stopped and searched by the police on the specious premise of blacks
committing more crimes which follows logically that every crime that occurs
they are the ones who should top the suspect list. Ndey you are guilty of the
same reasoning and logically progression. my advice to you is this always
hold your nose when ever you receive grapevine information especially from
anonymous members of the list.
Your much vaunted and admirable mantra "The Struggle Continues" is now
becoming vindication obsessed, personalised and laced with prejudices. i hope
this salves your conscience.
Hamjatta
