My opinion is that building wells is fine and dandy except that we also need
planning now for better water systems.  Remember I also lived there, and saw
many wells in my lifetime.  Those wells do not supply very clean or very
sanitary drinking water, and constantly building them are small steps but
also greatly sub-optimal ones.

I refuse to settle for mediocrity and while wells might be OK for some, I
would be much more impressed to see a single or many water supply systems
which provides safe and sanitized drinking water to, say, many villages.
Only good leadership, higher expectations, and better planning & foresight
will see bigger and better ventures like this carried out..

I don't think it is unreasonable to expect the powers that be to look far and
aim for bigger & better things as it pertains to plans for the development of
our beloved country and people.
