The Independent,

Your opinion echoes popular sentiments on this callous attack on Mr.
Christensen. However, it seems as if you're reading VERY WRONGLY the fact
that security officers (including from the President's Office,) rushing to
the scene to "investigate." Friends, it's criminologists who believe that a
"criminal always returns to the scene of his crime." The reason those
security officers went to the radio station is not to "investigate," but to
see for themselves if their cohorts had accomplished their mission!
Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for us, George and his people
survived this attack on their lives. You can only imagine how disappointed
they must have been. So, don't fall for their clap trap. You at the
Independent, and Deyda Hydara are all on their lists. So, take precautions
now! Don't be naive about what you're up against. The biggest mistake we
make in that country is to assume that the other side is rational. We're
dealing with an Idi Amin clone here. Just a little jolt back to reality.
You're all in our prayers.

Saul.
