Kebba,
Ousainou will understand, that this is african politics. Most politicians don`t
talk about the important issues for the nation on campaign, instead they will
peddle lies and insults to win their opponents. It is indeed a very bad and
dirty strategy in african politics. It reminds me when Dodou Taal was once
explaining in Banjul south, about the different means of getting money, and he
was misquoted directly by the opposition, that he was asking us ( the ndongo
halfdie ) to go and sell "tanganah" and other dirty jobs. The man tried to
explain what he meant, but unfortunately people believed the opposition, which
made him lost that election. So i think you cannot stop Darboe`s opponents from
such allegations, but the honest people will know that it is not true. Frankly,
i know Darboe personally, and definately he is a good man, who could lead us
with respect and honesty. I am convinced, that he will treat all Gambians
equally and fairly. I think all the opposition should put their eyes on the
ball, and that is to uproot our murderers, who want to murder more Gambians.
Gambian security officers should not allow the Casamance people to kill their
relatives. They should challenge them without fear. Now is the best time, for
them to put these murderer in a box and send them to Morrocco or Libya. We need
peace back to the country. Let them go with the money they stole from us, and
leave us with peace.
Thanks
Elhajj.
