Another e-mail from one of my sources in the Gambia.

Ebrima Ceesay

Hello Ebrima,

The butcher of Kanilai is now convinced that President Abdoulaye Wade of
Senegal is working day and night with the ex-military officers of the Gambia
National Army, in order to topple him (Jammeh). And being the liar he is,
Yahya has already informed two Secretaries of State that he, Yahya, had
gathered from reliable intelligence sources that President Wade did pledge
to give military and financial support to the ex-GNA army officials planning
to topple him (Jammeh). You see, Ebrima, because of the fact that he is so
paranoid these days, the dictator is just day-dreaming, by cooking up all
these stories for himself. For instance, he even alleged that Maitre Wade
had already had an audience with former NBD Commissioner, Lt Alagie Kanteh,
adding also that everything the two men (Kanteh and Wade) allegedly
discussed was revealed to him in a "dream" he, Jammeh, had. Ebrima, the
butcher is really worried about President Wade and as a result, he has
telephoned Colonel Muamar Gaddafi of Libya and asked him to make peace or
mediate between himself and Abdoulaye Wade. Yahya had told Gadaffi that if
he, Gaddafi, did not quickly mediate between himself (Jammeh) and President
Wade, then Senegal may help topple him and his regime. He has also asked
Gaddafi to urge the Senegalese government to hand over Alagie Kanteh to him,
but Senegal, for sure, will refuse his request. So Ebrima, tell the guys on
the L to keep the pressure on the butcher because Yahya Jammeh may even go
before the next elections if the pressure was still sustained both at home
and abroad.
