Dear Deyda:
Thank you for your earlier email which I tried to respond to earlier but
was experiencing computer problems. If you already received the
message, my sincere apology.
I sent the money because the response to the appeal for funds was not as
strong as I would have liked. In fact, I only received two contributions
of $50 and $30. I thought that the money would be better of in your
hands. I will appeal for more funds in summer.
Meanwhile, our hearts are with all of you as we remember the slain, this
day last year. Keep up the struggle as we look up to those of you in the
trenches to show us the way.
Kind Regards,
Abdoulaye
