Momodou Sabally Appears in Court Today!!

If for anything, I do not wish the former SG Sabally anything except that which he wished for himself. The truth be said, the likes of Sabally are being haunted by their own taunts, and as such, any sympathy for them is only based on humanitarian grounds and the lack of a true justice system with due process of the law in the Gambia.

If you ask me, I think whatever is happening to Sabally is good for him, and that is only if he succeeds in escaping the dangerous crocodile’s poisonous jaws. Sabally was growing too arrogant, too dishonest, and mean, with absolute recklessness, without thinking of what he was doing, other than satisfying his financial, personal, and fame dreams, what the Ollofs call, “Yakamtee-aduna.” If Sabally succeeds in getting some years of jail time, that will certainly rehabilitate him, makes him reflect on the evil he once supported, and help him perhaps be a better citizen, and that is only if he rehabilitates. Of course, we have seen the recycling tendencies, and some of them would rather be recycled than seeing themselves being against the very ugly system they helped construct, for obvious reasons, a battling for survival and fitness with a typical system under a dictator, and a way to prove points that they are still "cool" with the dictator, or that they were right in whatever they were doing in their lives. Whatever big losers!! It is time for these sick and dishonest intellectuals or blind supporters of this crumbling regime to come to their senses. Failure to do so, you are digging your own grave, just like the many of your predecessors. When you tell them to listen, their ears are too deafened, eyes too blinded, and hearts too full of arrogance....and they would right away brand you as being "jealous" of their achievements (political, wealth, fame, etc). Oh well, who is more truthful? Who is in a better place today? Who is free and who is a captive of his won evil? Who is a bad son of Africa --the official criminal or the poor diaspora guy fighting for the oppressed Gambians? I am sure today you must have realized the answer even though some of your rotten breeds will still be self-denial of the truth. Your own bed-bugs are ruining your skulls....nincompoops and dirty political prostitutes!!

Sabally’s mischaracterization of his own umbilical cord, the Mandingo, assault on the West and Diaspora, and overall mishandling of office –GRTS TV beating and open bragging in society, depicts a character that if allowed to grow to full strength, can be worse than the likes of Jammeh. But here is a major difference. Jammeh is an ignorant fool whose low-level education led him to being a comedian making laughter of every intellectual material, while Sabally claims to be educated, and the latter is more dangerous than the former, because he can use his education to manipulate systems, ideas, people, and will use every opportunity to justify his aggression and intellectual dishonesty.

One thing is clear –none, if not few, are fighting for the former two SGS, names Njogu Bah and Momodou Sabally. The reason for that is not far-fetched. It is their ass-kissing and own evil manifestation. The dictator knows not to release the two because they are privy to some evil within the administration.

Now, said and done, they are honestly dealing with their own taunts. May Allah swt protect us from their evils, their evil associations, and the evil for which they were created. (A Momodou Sabally Appears in Court Today!!

The former Secretary General and head of the civil service, Momodou Sabally, will today reappear at the high court in Banjul to defend himself against a three-count charge of economic crime and abuse of office preferred by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The charge in count one states that the accused person in May 2014 in Banjul, committed an offence while serving as secretary general, when he caused economic loss to Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC) to the tune of D402,500 by unduly influencing the corporation to fund a programme entitled: ‘Youth Career Development’, organised by one Mariama Sillah, without recourse to due process, and thereby committed an offence.
Counts two and three stated that the accused person in May 2014 in Banjul, committed an offence when he abused his office as the secretary general, by influencing SSHFC to sponsor a programme organised by Mariama Sillah.
It was further alleged that in “flagrant abuse of his office”, Sabally “blatantly disregarded due process” when he influenced the SSHFC to sponsor the programme.
Sabally last appeared in court without a lawyer, and he applied to be granted bail, but was refused bail and remanded under the custody of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Banjul.
At the time, he told the court that he is a Gambian and narrated how he had served the country, including as secretary-general at the Office of the President and head of the civil service, and had worked 10 years with the Central Bank of The Gambia.
He also said he had ignored offers to work for international organizations such as the World Bank and IMF.
“I have a wife and children,” Sabally further told the court, adding that “with this background”, the prosecution could not question his integrity.
Today Sabally will reappear to defend himself.
