I must apologise about something.

I left out an important provisor: The Imam Mahdi (alaihi salaam) factor.

I know all about it.

There is always the divide and rule factor and the Shia/ Sunni dichotomy in Islam, provides that kind of balance – if it comes to nuclear weapons too, an equilibrium of terror from both sides of the qibla.

What do you think the eight-year war between Iraq (the aggressor) and Iran was all about?

Now Ahmadinejad wants to be popular with all Muslims, by saying that he – mortal as he is, is going to wipe out Israel, when he knows that the annihilation of Iran and people is guaranteed should he ever be mad enough to commit national suicide, by attacking the remnant of Israel that is left after the HOLOCAUST which murdered 6 million Jews – that is two thirds of European Jewry. It’s significant that he would like to complete the Fuehrer’s
intensions to which end he assembled the likes of the racist David Duke and others to Tehran, to discuss such issues as “the Holocaust is a myth” etc.

He knows full well that to assure his own and his nation’s survival he had best not mess with Israel or the United States. There is no war going on between US and Iraq. The US did that which Iran was not capable of doing, the US toppled Iran’s Number one enemy in the region, namely Saddam, with the intention of a Democratic order, replacing Saddam’s way of doing things, and we are back to Square one. On 22nd September 1980, Saddam invaded Iran and occupied an area larger than Kuwait, destroyed Abadan, and it took the Iranians tow years and much sacrifice to kick Iraq out. It took less time to blast Saddam out of Kuwait.
Saddam attacked because he was afraid that Imam Khomeini ( r.a.) was going to export the Islamic Revolution to the rest of the Middle East. With the Shia in an electoral majority in Iraq and the possibility of a real power block a Shia Confederation of the Shia elements of Iran and Iraq, the spectre of Shia revolution spreading into Sunni lands, is much stringer than before, and if the United States withdrew today, do you know what would happen?

Even ”a stupid and ignorant Jewish propagandist” like myself, KNOWS the history of Islam from both Shia and Sunni perspectives. This one read Wilayat -i-faqih in 1987 and spent a good eight years with the SHIA after one year with the Sunni.

”the right of some over others to acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. Why should Jews have nuclear weapons and others denied technology for declared peaceful purposes?”

You know what Taqiyya is?

So you think that Iran would not like to be more powerful than they are?
It has often been asked whether Imam Mahdi alaihi salaam, will need nuclear weapons capability for Armageddon….

What do you think?

If you know the history of Islam (not just what’s been written by Bernard Lewis) then you would be more aware of the tensions that have underpinned Shia-Sunni controversy these past thirteen hundred years. An accommodation/ settlement can only be reached on a basis of truth and it would not be possible for agreement to be reached on anything other than truth.

” Iran who has never attacked any nation in contemporary
times?” What was the Hezbollah Lebanon war about? Or don’t you know? One of the predictable outcomes of the war has been that Hezbollah wants more political power in Lebanon.
Iran would also like US to leave town, so that they could move in more openly into Iraq and you don’t suppose that all the Sunnis will be sleeping then do you?

This is hardly the Forum for discussing such an issue but you may continue if you wish.
