Brothers,
I know that most of us are enraged, and this is redirecting our energies to
the blue. Why do we have to demonize each other in this forum which could be
used for a more noble purpose. We should all remain being gentle and at
least respect each other and try to contribute genuine ideas that could
benefit our nation and betterment. What example are we setting if we are
ferocioulsly using harsh words against each other. As future leaders, What
example we setting? My question is will some of us who levy insults to
others be patient enough when they take the lead ? I guess they would not be
any better than the government they always critisize. Harsh words bring
violence and pain. The wise leader only choses harsh words and combat as a
last resort, mainly because the victory from harsh words and combat are no
cause for joy. To gloat in victory means delight in destroying others. In
destroying other, we destroy ourselves. I was assuming that we should all be
just, but not judgemental ; honest but not hurtful; straightforward but not
inflexible. Those who responsibly meet life's conflicts can truely lead the
world. To the angry folks, I say set a good goal in mind and acquire a good
wealth of knowledge. Exercise good self-discipline and perform only good
deeds that would better us and our country.
My apology to all does who are offended by my comments and those who see it
as a sermon.
Peace & Respect
Edward Secka
