Does the Gambian constitution provide any litmus test for IEC's conduct in the exercise of its mandated duties ? I don't think so. The Gambian constitution only sets criteria of impartiality for commissioned members, and all the officers currently holding office at the IEC are constitutionally qualified. The endless "brouhaha" from the opposition is nothing but sensational, speculative and argumentative. They have no concrete evidence of impartiality nor any legitimate grounds to challenge the performance of the IEC. NADD is going through some campaign anxiety and as such they are acting out in complete paranoia. The Gambian "people" is not complaining. It is only the NADD leadership that is constantly making constant noise to feel relevant.

Ebou
