Musa, thanks for this forward.  Corrupt leadership in Africa is the main
reason for our underdevelopment.  Only Africans can stop this criminal
activity.  Our donors only pay lip service to the issue of corruption.  The
US, EU, UK, etc. have embassys in The Gambia and see Jammeh dishing out big
ticket items for seven years, yet still they are wealing and dealing with
him everyday.  We have to face the truth, our donors are not interested in
fighting corruption in Africa.  Most of the aid/loans they give to Africa
helps to keep their own economies going.  They give us a loan/aid and 75% of
it goes back to them in the form of materials, service, advice, etc.  To
borrow from Chinua Achebe, we have to make corruption very expensive and
costly for these African criminals.
