As far as the strength: it seems like everything goes back to that "Man the
Hunter" book. Lee also wrote a book about the !Kung San that I'm currently
reading.

The topic of how HGs thought is very interesting. Right now I am also
reading "The Mating Mind", an evolutionary psychology book that is
fascinating. The book mentions that some of the problem is that we now pay
other people to entertain us instead of entertaining ourselves. And of
course with the brain, it's use it or lose it. So as people become more
and more dependent on passive entertainment, I would guess their mental
sharpness decreases as well. Though it really doesn't talk about fitness,
I would highly recommend this book.
