There was extensive (but not sensational) coverage given in the UK and
Australian press (radio and newspapers) to sound research findings
indicating that men who ejaculate more frequently than average in their
20s experience significantly less prostate cancer in later life.

Earlier researchers, it seems, had been asking the wrong question,
confining their quantification to the frequency of sexual intercourse
which, as most men who have been through their 20s will know, is not the
most frequent occasion for ejaculation.

This makes a lot of sense to me and is likely to have been used in Paleo
times before we were riddled with the guilt established religions load
onto masturbation.

I have drawn the attention of my two sons (in their 20s) to the articles.
