Today marks three weeks of eating right.

No brain fog. More energy. Sleeping better. And it looks like I've lost
four pounds.

And I can't believe how easily I've passed up cake and donuts and muffins.

The one nagging thing is that, in the past three weeks, I've developed an
ache in my hands and fingers that definitely was not there before. My hope
is that it's due solely to the fact that, with more energy, I am doing a
lot more typing at work in a lot less time.

I still have a long way to go. Someone once told me that, energy-wise, I
was (by way of illustration) floating just under the surface of a pond that
I should be sailing along on top of. Right now, I'd say I've got my nose
just out of the water. About all I can hand
le in the area of exercise is
low-impact or no-impact aerobics type stuff. I hope that eventually I'll
be able to do more strenuous stuff, but for someone who is used to lying on
the couch when she's not forced to do stuff like work, I think I am doing
remarkably well at this point.

Edith
